Ebensee: Nice beach and swimming area in Traunsee

the beach is free to public. you only need to pay for parking ticket. of course, you must bring your own stuff since you will not find any shovel, sunbed etc. it is a public place.

while it will be crowded in high season, with the river merging into Traunsee and hills rising nearby it is a restful place to enjoy.

There is a large parking lot near the beach. There is also a restaurant where you can eat some hot meal.

a small river is joining Traunsee, creating a magnificient scene. nearby there are mountains surrounding the lake. this gives an amazing view while resting on the beach.
