Aueck Beach and Bathing Place in Traunsee

it is free and it has a gorgeous scene to enjoy. you can rest on the grass.

it is also called as Badeplatz “Bräuwiese”.

The only thing you need to pay is parking ticket. it was 4 euro for whole day in 2021. the parking place is very large, thus no problem in finding empty spot. we had also visited this place on 6th June 2020.

there is a restaurant where you can buy some hot meal, ice-cream, bier etc.

also there is a public toilet and dressing room, both are free.

you will need to bring your own stuff: shovel, sunbed..

the water is not so cold but it is not so warm. it is not deep and it does not deepen quickly. therefore, it is good for families.
